Absolutely obvious; what he wanted to see was secret techniques, if at all possible.-

*Shadow is shaking, eyes wide with fright and confusion. In mere minutes his entire world had been turned upside down, thrown on the ground, stomped on, then left behind in pieces and shattered. Now Shadow was left with fragments of what he loved, but unable to put everything back together. He and his life were suddenly broken. Although he should have been crying-and wanted to-he couldn’t. His Father didn’t deserve his tears. He didn’t want the alien to see him break down. No, he would not. Instead, Shadow got angry. Very, very angry.
Doom’s Eye floated a bit closer, also bothered by the light coming form above. Not like Doom was going to complain. He was hoping to leave this polluted rock with at least one hundred soldiers, not fifty or less. This little deal with the government was the only thing preventing that. And it was being messed up.*
I am aware of that. I have no use for it. It is weak and frightened easily. That is not acceptable in my army.
The humans have made a deal with me and my children. It we are to leave peacefully the experiment is to be handed over to the human government agency GUN.*Speaking of them, the Commander had sneaked off. Probably to patch up his sanity or something. The rest of the soldiers were standing back, watching with wide eyes. They had gotten new weapons. Some help guns, other giant bazooka type things that had nets loaded into them, and a small few knives.
Shadow’s trembling is worse now as he tries to contain all the hate in him. The Chaos inside of him is building. And he just wanted to unleash it on all the soldiers. Not his brothers, though he was angry at them. He could still not bring himself to even think about hurting them or his Father, no matter how angry he was. The hedgehog’s fiery gaze goes up to the helicopter. His energy spikes for but a moment.
And the helicopter explodes into a giant ball of flame.
The soldiers shriek and run back. It comes flying down, crashing off to the side and, thankfully, away from them before exploding. Doom’s Eye is rather calm looking. Key word being looking.*
He is but a child! You’ve barely let him live long enough to experience life itself; the least you could do is wait until he grows older before you judge him in such a strict manner!!
-And then he hears something crash and explode. He gazes to the crashing site, eyes widening before glancing at Shadow. Did he just—?! Good gods, what was this Doom talking about?! At this young age, he’s powerful enough to wipe out a small city. He glares back up at Doom’s Eye.-
Are you not aware of what just happened? Your child did that—I doubt it was his full potential!!
